The Favorite Cars of Comparison Shoppers: April 2001

    PALO ALTO, Calif.--May 15, 2001--InvoiceDealers, a pioneer in automotive Internet marketing, released the favorite cars, trucks, SUVs and minivans of online comparison shoppers in April 2001.

    April 2001 Results

    The Honda Civic reached a milestone as the Overall Most Requested Vehicle for the month, an elite title previously held by only the Ford F-Series and Honda Accord. As the favorite in Cars, the Civic also upset its rival sibling, the Accord, snapping its 11-month reign.
    The Ford F-Series kept its streak going, marking its fourteenth month as the favorite Truck. It fell out of first place overall for only the second time since the Survey began.
    Sport Utility Vehicles played musical chairs again, with not a single player keeping its previous position. The Ford Escape landed in first, a position it has not held since January.
    The Honda Odyssey continued its dominance of Minivans for the fourth straight month.
