ZAPWORLD to Premier Electric Concept Vehicles

plans to unveil a line of new electric powered concept vehicles at its annual
shareholders meeting on June 16th in Sebastopol, California.

    ZAP, one of the nation's leading providers of electric powered vehicles,
has developed a new concept line in collaboration with a new strategic
marketing partner, which will complement its existing line of electric
transportation vehicles.

    Gary Starr, CEO of ZAP commented on the development of this new line to
date saying, "Our shareholders have long wondered about ZAP's vision for the
small electric car market and the neighborhood electric vehicle market. For
the past two years, we have invested heavily in the research, market
development, and intensive due diligence to evaluate the best way to enter
this marketplace. We considered a merger last year, which we did not complete,
and in retrospect, we believe that merger would still have had missing pieces.
Today however, we feel we are much closer to having defined the right vehicle,
and equally important, the right distribution system. All of this will be
presented to shareholders, firsthand, at our annual meeting."
