Haldex Wins a Multi-year Contract for Automatic Brake Adjusters

    STOCKHOLM, Sweden--Aug. 15, 2001--One of the leading truck makers in the US has decided to standardize on Haldex automatic brake adjuster.
    The contract is multi-yearly and by this order Haldex' market share in North America for automatic brake adjusters increases to 50%. Added yearly sales are estimated to 30 MSEK.
    Haldex is world-leading in the product area automatic brake adjusters for air actuated drum brake systems on heavy vehicles. This new order is another confirmation of Haldex' leading technical know-how, quality and customer support.
    The Haldex Brake Systems division is a major supplier to the global commercial vehicle industry of subsystems and components for air brake and air suspension systems.
