Kenworth To Introduce Special Edition Truck at GATS

KIRKLAND, Wash., Aug. 15, 2001 - Kenworth Truck Company announced today that
it plans to introduce a Kenworth/Canepa special edition W900L at the
upcoming Great American Trucking Show Sept. 7-9 in Dallas.

"We're very excited about introducing this special owner operator truck at
GATS," said Ed Caudill, Kenworth general manager and PACCAR vice president.
"We think customers will like the new features and enjoy the special styling
that have been added."

The truck will be on exhibit in Kenworth's booth during GATS.
