Bentley Motors Launches Continental R Le Mans Series Coupe

MONTEREY, Calif., Aug. 17 Celebrating its return to the
world's greatest motor race, Le Mans, after 71 years, Bentley Motors has
launched the Continental R Le Mans Series coupe.

The Bentley Continental R Le Mans Series launch follows Bentley Motors'
EXP Speed 8 racing car's podium finish at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The introduction of this special car is prompting these coupes to be described
as collector's items as 50 cars will be made.

The car's interior and exquisite detail finish showcases the leather and
woodworking skills of Bentley Motors' Crewe-based craftsmen and women to
distinguish the Le Mans Series cars.

Developed from the Continental R Mulliner, the vehicle features an
increase in power to 420bhp (313Kw), and is distinguished from its four door
sibling by perforated hide sports seats, front console package with
racing-style starter button and gear change knob with integrated sports mode
switch.

The instrument gauges' racing green faces and winged Bentley emblems
embossed into English Tan hide front and rear head restraints stress the
exclusivity of this limited edition grand tourer, boasting uncompromised
luxury and comfort for four adults. The exterior is emphasised by flared
wheel arches, red-painted brake calipers, two sets of twin exhaust pipes,
front wing vents and front wing badges proclaiming the Le Mans Series,
showcasing the new identity.

Bentley Motors, maker of the world's most luxurious and powerful
production cars, developed the Le Mans Series to celebrate its proud sporting
record at the world's most demanding endurance event, which shares status as
one of the world's three greatest motor races with the Indy 500 and Monaco
Grand Prix.

Bentley's return to the Le Mans this year generated unprecedented global
interest. The Le Mans Series cars reflect this passion in a way that only
cars bearing the Bentley wings can.

President of Bentley Motors, Inc. Alasdair Stewart said: "The Le Mans
Series cars carry the genes of the vintage race winners in every detail
-- from discrete wing vents and special badges, to quad tail pipes and
meticulous detailing. No other carmaker can claim a heritage like ours or
design, develop and build cars to this outstanding standard."

In North America the Continental R Le Mans Series coupe will carry an
MSRP of $328,900.00.
