Amcast Automotive Wins Two Aluminum Wheel Orders From General Motors

    DAYTON, Ohio--Sept. 10, 2001--Amcast Industrial Corporation announced today that Amcast Automotive has been awarded two new aluminum road wheels from General Motors Corporation.
    The wheels will be produced for the 2002 model year Chevrolet Malibu and Cavalier vehicle lines and offer significant revenue potential for the company. Initial production shipments of the wheels will begin during the fourth quarter of 2001.
