Enterprise Rent-A-Car Waives One-Way Drop Fee For Stranded Customers

ST. LOUIS--Sept. 14, 2001--Enterprise Rent-A-Car today issued the following statement in the aftermath of this week's terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, D.C.:
The tragic events of Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, have left thousands of Americans stranded away from their homes and families. In light of these extraordinary circumstances, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is temporarily amending its policy on one-way rentals by eliminating the one-way drop fee. The amended policy applies to all customers with an open Enterprise rental contract from Sept. 11 to Sept. 17, 2001.
All Enterprise customers who have already used an Enterprise vehicle for a one-way rental beginning on or after Sept. 11, 2001, and who incurred a one-way drop fee, will have the cost of the drop-fee refunded over the next month. Customers who have questions about their refunds should contact Enterprise at 877/905-7283 or via e-mail at oneway@enterprise.com.
