PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 2 -- The Philadelphia International Auto Show is rolling back into the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and WPVI-TV/6ABC will put viewers in the driver's seat with ``Philly on Wheels 2002,'' a live special to air Saturday, January 5th at 7 p.m. This hour-long preview of the Auto Show, hosted by Channel 6's Wally Kennedy and Action News reporter Karen Rogers, will focus on this year's theme of ``America's Love Affair with the Automobile.''

The newest models, the latest concept cars, and the hottest interior electronics will all be featured in the Channel 6 special. The show will also include the debut of the highly anticipated 2003 Mercedes SL coupe. WPVI-TV's partners for the broadcast include Dodge, Mercedes, Subaru, Ford, Lincoln Mercury and Honda.

Information on this year's auto show, as well as links to 6ABC's sponsors, can be found on Channel 6's web site, wpvi.com.

Produced by the Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia, this year's Philadelphia International Auto Show will feature more North American debuts than ever before. Running from January 5th to the 13th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the show will include more than 700 vehicles from 35 participating manufacturers.

Giving viewers a sneak peek at the show is an annual event for Channel 6, which is the station of choice for major events in the Delaware Valley. Channel 6 will also provide a behind-the-scenes preview of the Philadelphia Flower Show in March.

WPVI-TV is the ABC owned station serving the Delaware Valley.
