New Automotive Publication in Denver

DENVER, Jan. 21 -- A new weekly automotive publication is available in Greater Denver today, free to area automotive seekers.

Published by the Denver Newspaper Agency, Post-News Autos EXTRA is a resource guide for consumers in search of pre-owned vehicles. The four-color, magazine-sized publication will be available each Friday at grocery stores and convenience shops throughout the metro area.

Post-News Autos EXTRA features full color images of more than 480 pre-owned vehicles from 40 dealerships. It also offers private party classified ads, making it a complete shopping guide to thousands of available vehicles throughout Greater Denver.

``Denver's automotive scene is dynamic and exciting,'' says Cathy Crosby, vice president, classified advertising for the Denver Newspaper Agency. ``We view Post-News Autos EXTRA as an alternative automotive resource and a valuable addition to the classified job sections that already are published daily and weekends in The Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News.''

An estimated 43,000 copies of the 44-page, January 18 edition were distributed Friday (January 18) in Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Boulder, Douglas, Jefferson, Larimer and Weld counties. Distribution locations include King Soopers, Albertson's, Wal-Mart, Blockbuster and 7-11 Stores, Bally's Total Fitness and Media Play.

The Denver Newspaper Agency publishes The Post and News under a joint operating agreement designed to preserve editorial competition. Business operations for the two newspapers are managed by the Agency, which is equally owned by MediaNews Group and E.W. Scripps Co.
