Hummer Unveils 10th Anniverery Edition

HUMMER Announces The 10th Anniversary H1

South Bend, Ind.-In commemoration of the tenth year of civilian HUMMER H1 production, AM General and General Motors announce a 10th Anniversary H1 for 2002.

This limited edition H1 includes a variety of special features from the one-of-a-kind copper colored Desert Sunset paint to the wood grain steering wheel and dash.

"The H1 10th Anniversary Edition is a celebration of the civilian HUMMER and a tribute to the customers that have made HUMMER a legend over the years," said Jim Armor, president, AM General Corporation.

Unique features like a heavy-duty brush guard, black fender flares, color keyed wheel accents and the 10th anniversary logo accent the exterior of the commemorative H1.

The interior is tan leather trimmed with heated leather seats that feature the 10th Anniversary Logo embroidered in the headrest.

The 2002 10th Anniversary H1s arrive in HUMMER dealerships in March.

General Motors and AM General reached an agreement in December 1999 in which GM acquired exclusive ownership of the HUMMER brand name worldwide.
