Consumers Invited to Vote on 'Most Wanted' Cars and Trucks at Edmunds.com

SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 22 -- Beginning today, consumers are invited to vote for the 2002 vehicles they'd most like to see in their own driveways at Edmunds.com ( http://www.edmunds.com ), the Web's leading consumer resource for unbiased automotive information.

Consumers can submit their choices in each of thirty vehicle categories such as ``Convertible Under $30,000,'' ``Luxury Sport Coupe,'' ``Midsize SUV'' and ``Large Pickup.'' The complete ballot is available at http://www.edmunds.com/reviews/surveys/cmw/index.html . Winners will be announced in June.

Each autumn, the editors at Edmunds.com choose their own Most Wanted vehicles, the latest of which can be found at http://www.edmunds.com/reviews/mostwanted/2002/index.html .

``Our Most Wanted awards reflect what is in people's hearts as wells as their heads. They may or may not be the 'best' cars, but they are the ones people most desire based on whatever is important to them personally,'' explained Karl Brauer, Editor-In-Chief of Edmunds.com. ``Now consumers have their chance to see how their favorites compare with the choices my team and I made for the 2002 model year.''
