PA Commonwealth to Auction Vehicles on May 9

HARRISBURG, Pa., April 24 -- Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) Secretary Kelly Powell Logan today announced that the Commonwealth will auction 200 used state vehicles at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 9, in the Commonwealth Garage, 2221 Forster St., Harrisburg.

A variety of vehicles will be on the auction block, including: Ford Crown Victorias, Chevrolet Caprices and Plymouth Breezes, as well as Honda motorcycles.

Prospective bidders may inspect the vehicles at the Commonwealth Garage or at various locations (listed at the website address below) around the state, today through Monday, May 6. Bidders must register and receive a number on the date of the auction.

Buyers must pay with cash, postal money order, certified check or cashier's check. Personal, municipal or company checks will not be accepted.
