AURORA, Ill., June 24 -- AAA Chicago recently unveiled a new and used car buying service on their web site: www.aaa.com . The service is available to AAA members and the general public.

AAA Chicago's new Internet car buying program offers members and the general public no-haggle pricing on one of the biggest selections of new and used cars online.

Using the service is simple. Either log onto www.aaa.com , visit the "Autos and Driving" section on the home page and click on the word "go." For people who don't have access to the Internet, the service is available by calling (877) 411-ACAR.

Customers will start by choosing whether they want a new or used vehicle and are then asked to enter the make and model they are looking to purchase. Once a selection is made, customers can add any additional options that are offered by the manufacturer. After the customer has built their dream vehicle, the car buying service will show the customer how their price compares to the invoice price of the vehicle and the manufacturer's suggested retail price.

If the customer chooses to buy the vehicle online, a Vehicle Specialist will contact them within one day and proceed with their order. Customers could even have the keys to their new car within a couple of days.

AAA Chicago realizes that not everyone is comfortable buying a vehicle online. In fact, many visitors will choose to do their research online but prefer to purchase a vehicle from the dealer. If that is the case, the new car buying service will match the customer's needs with a member of an authorized dealer network. The VIP dealer representative will work with the customer to find a vehicle and negotiate an agreeable price.
