PORTLAND, Ore.--July 8, 2002--Chrome Systems Corporation, provider of automotive data, configuration technology and commerce solutions, announced today the Chrome Top 10(TM), national and regional rankings of the nation's most popular vehicles researched online for the first half of 2002.The Honda Civic maintained its stronghold as the nation's most popular car, while the Ford F-150, currently the best selling vehicle, topped the chart in the truck category. In the SUV category, the smaller SUVs made up a majority of the list with the Honda CR-V edging out the Toyota Highlander for number one. As for luxury vehicles, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus dominated, capturing three slots each, but the BMW 5-series proved to be the nation's favorite.
