Ford Shooting for Twenty New Vehicles a Year

That's what Ford Motor told the media yesterday in a move aimed at
criticism that its product line is old, outdated and stodgy. Ford says it
will introduce 20 new vehicles a year for the next several years to make
its North American product line more competitive. Ford was clear, however,
that not all of the vehicles will be new platforms but will include
modifications to current vehicles.

Already slated for updating next year are the Lincoln Navigator, Ford
Expedition, Mustang Cobra, SVT Focus, Lincoln LS and Mercury Marauder. New
for next year will be the Lincoln Aviator.
