Rendezvous Beats RX300,MDX, M-Class, Mountaineer in Total Deliveries

DETROIT - Rendezvous has posted its best monthly sales since its introduction in June 2001. Breaking its previous record of 6,491 deliveries in October 2001, Rendezvous sales in July totaled 7,689.
Rendezvous outpaced the Lexus RX 300, Acura MDX, Mercedes M-Class, and Mercury Mountaineer both in retail and total deliveries in July.
"This is a phenomenal achievement," said Chris Mazglad, Buick Truck marketing director. "The longer we're in the market, the more customers recognize the capability, functionality and value Rendezvous represents. We're proving that Rendezvous is a true competitor in the crossover segment."
Total Buick sales for July were up 29.4 percent from last year. Century and Park Avenue had the strongest improvement with 28.4 and 31.0 percent increases, respectively. LeSabre also continued its robust sales with an 8.9 percent improvement. Buick sales for the 2002 calendar year-to-date are up 9.3 percent.
