Land Rover Announces 2003 Range Rover Price Revision

IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 30 Land Rover North America, part of Ford Motor Company's Premier Automotive Group today announced revised pricing for its Range Rover HSE. The manufacturer's suggested retail price will now be $71,200 plus a $665 destination charge. The new price reflects previously optional Bi-Xenon headlamps being made standard and the addition of the premium harman/kardon® LOGIC7 15-speaker surround sound system, also as standard equipment. The previous MSRP was $69,330. Range Rover also has a complimentary scheduled maintenance program during the original warranty period.

"We feel this modest price adjustment is an excellent value considering the increase in standard content," said Richard Beattie, vice president Sales and Marketing for Jaguar and Land Rover.

Pricing for the 2003 model year Discovery remains unchanged since its launch in July. The MSRP for the Discovery "S" model is $34,350. The "SE" is $38,350 while the HSE is priced at $40,350. A $645 delivery charge applies to all models. The addition of the seven passenger seating adds $1,000 to each model. Discovery is also covered by a complimentary scheduled maintenance program during the original warranty period.

Pricing for the Freelander continues at 2002 introductory levels. The Freelander "S" has a MSRP of $24,975, the "SE" $27,775 and the "HSE" $31,575 with a destination charge of $625.00.
