Suzuki- $1,000 Cash and Zero Percent Financing

BREA, Calif.--Oct. 2, 2002--American Suzuki Motor Corp. (ASMC) announced its 2002 Suzuki Clearance offer -- $1,000 customer cash and zero percent financing -- for all remaining 2002 models in dealer stock throughout October and November, ending Dec. 2, 2002.

ASMC's industry-leading seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty protection also applies to these models.

"We started our seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty in August of this year to reach out to the smart car buyer, offering great vehicles and programs that ensure our customers get the best buy possible -- at the time of purchase, throughout their ownership, all the way through resale," explained ASMC President Rick Suzuki.

"This is a great opportunity to broaden the appeal of Suzuki to an increasing number of smart buyers who know a great value when they see one," Suzuki added.

American Suzuki's industry-leading seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty offer beats all others by providing no-deductible coverage for more than 14,000 miles on average a year and is fully transferable from owner to owner, boosting resale and trade-in values down the road.

The powertrain warranty offer covers the engine, transaxle, transmission and transfer case and front-, rear-, and all-wheel-drive systems.

The seven-year/100,000-mile warranty is part of Suzuki's "Open Road Promise(SM)," a three-tiered program designed to strengthen Suzuki's customer satisfaction. Other "Open Road Promise(SM)" elements include the 24-hour, 365-a-day Roadside Assistance Program and the Warranty Repair Courtesy Vehicle Program which provides a courtesy rental vehicle through Enterprise-Rent-A-Car.
