Turn Your Vehicle Into the Ultimate Tailgate Party Machine

A Few Well-Chosen Accessories Can Enhance The Pre-Game or Pre-
Concert Experience

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (October 3, 2002) - Tailgate parties are an
integral part of most sporting events-perhaps even the best part,
depending on the win/loss record of the team in question. "As with
so many American pastimes, cars and trucks play a key role in
tailgating," says Rosemarie Kitchin, director of consumer/public
relations for SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association.
"Fortunately, a few auto accessories can make any tailgate party
better."

For instance, a great party requires refreshments, and Kitchin notes
that you can plug a 12-volt refrigerator, food warmer or blender
into the cigarette lighter or power point in practically any
vehicle. Get a 12-volt socket multiplier and it's easy to plug in
all three.

Arriving at the parking lot to find crushed chips and spilled catsup
will put a damper on people's party moods. That's why it's wise to
use a trunk or cargo area organizer to keep snacks and other items
from getting rowdy on the way to the game.

A table that plugs into a vehicle's trailer hitch also comes in
handy for serving, or sitting and eating.

Add a cranking sound system or an entertainment system with a TV
tuner, and there's no need to miss the pre-game show--or the entire
game, if the tailgate party really gets rocking.
