GM Modifies But Continues Zero Zero Zero - What A Deal!
FOR RELEASE: November 1, 2002GM Announces Modifications to "Zero, Zero, Zero" Program
DETROIT - General Motors Corp. today announced modifications to its retail marketing program on 2002 and 2003 model year vehicles. Effective November 1 and continuing through January 2, 2003, GM is offering "Zero, Zero, Zero" -- no monthly payments for 90 days, no down payment and 0.0% APR financing rates for qualified buyers on the purchase of most new 2003 and the remaining new 2002 model Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Saturn, and Saab cars and trucks. The 2002 and 2003 HUMMER models are not included in the program.
In addition, the program offers $2,000 customer cash or 0.0/2.9/3.9% APR finance rates to qualified buyers on most 2003 GM models, excluding Saturn and HUMMER. Saturn has introduced its own set of financing and leasing programs. An additional $1,000 is available toward the purchase or lease of certain 2003 GM midsize passenger cars and minivans.
"These changes continue GM's strategy of simple, compelling marketing programs for consumers that are competitive, and demonstrate leadership in the marketplace," said Bill Lovejoy, group vice president of GM North America Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing. "The program builds upon the momentum of 'Zero, Zero, Zero' with very competitive APR rates and enhanced cash offers."
GM begins television advertising of the modified programs nationally, November 1, 2002.
