Subaru of America, Inc. Announces Sales Results for November - Year to Date Sales Down Only 3% -

CHERRY HILL, N.J., Dec. 3, 2002; -- Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA), a pioneer of crossover all-wheel drive vehicles designed for the active lifestyle, announced today November sales of 13,759 units. Year-to-date sales are 165,089 units, a decrease of only 3% from the same period last year. Subaru of America set an all-time sales record of 185,944 units in calendar year 2001.

The Legacy model line achieved a sales total of 5,790 units, while Subaru Outback recorded sales of 3,939 units for the month. Subaru Forester recorded sales of 4,486 units, while the Impreza line recorded sales of 2,877 units for the month. Sales of the Baja model decreased slightly this month, with a total of 606 units for the month.
