Visteon Names Marge Sorge Director of Global Communications

DEARBORN, Mich., Dec. 19, 2002; Visteon Corporation has announced that Marjorie Sorge has been named director, corporate communications. In this role she is responsible for the company's global media relations and employee communications.

Prior to joining Visteon in 2000 as director of strategic communications, Sorge was editor of Automotive Industries magazine. She has 23 years of experience in journalism and has held positions at The Detroit News, Automotive News and Ward's Communications. She also was a main contributor to the Auto Reports for WJR radio.

"Marge has had a major impact on Visteon's communication effort," said Susan Skerker, senior vice president, Business Strategy and Corporate Relations. "Her experience and leadership provide a solid foundation from which to take Visteon's internal and external communications to the next level."

Sorge is a member of the Kettering University Board of Trustees and is on the Boards of Directors for the Automotive Press Association, Forgotten Harvest and the Women's Economic Club. She also is on the Advisory Panel for the Automotive Hall of Fame.
