Traditional Race La Carrera Panamericana

The Pan-American Highway runs from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. On a stretch of this in Mexico the international rally La Carrera Panamericana of classic cars has taken place since 1988. This event recalls the rally going back to 1952 in which Mercedes-Benz took part. In those days the participants had to cover 3,100 kilometers through Mexico in eight stages. The tradition continues: then with the 300 SL prototype and now with the SL 350.
