NEW YORK, Feb. 5 -- This year's New York International Automobile Show may be a few months away, but that hasn't stopped Show producers from unveiling the first debut: http://www.autoshowNY.com. The new Site gives enthusiasts a first look at the cars and trucks that are headed to New York. It also offers one of the most comprehensive online new vehicle image databases, Show facts and figures, an online shopping mall, plus the ever-popular auto trivia quiz. Starting February 15th, it also saves show-goers time by allowing them to buy online tickets in advance. The Show opens to the public on Friday, April 18th and runs until Sunday, April 27th. "Whether you're purchasing tickets, browsing the picture gallery for your next car, or looking for directions to the Javits Center, autoshowNY.com is the place to go," said Show Director, Candida Romanelli. The Site's new vehicle gallery includes photographs, product specifications and technical information about cars and trucks from over 40 vehicle manufacturers, as well as dozens of images of the latest concept cars. Also new for 2003, a World Report section gives visitors a glimpse at some of the vehicles that the rest of the world is driving. Trivia buffs can test their automotive knowledge and win prizes by entering the daily Trivia Challenge contest, and the well-organized can map out their visit to the Show in advance by checking out the easy-to-view floor plans.
