Kruse International to Auction Off NASCAR Harley

NASCAR Harley to Cross Auction Block at Kruse International
 Spring Motorfair & Cyclefest

Auburn,IN February 17, 2003; Kruse International has announced that it will be auctioning off the 2002 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy FI, also known as the NASCAR Harley. The bike will cross the auction block as part of the Auburn Spring Motorfair and Cyclefest, held May 2-4 at the Kruse auction complex south of Auburn, IN.

The bike commemorates the 343 New York firefighters who died on September 11, 2001, and boasts a fire engine red custom paint job that is tastefully enhanced by and American flag and eagle on one side and an American flag and FDNY fire helmet on the other.

The bike is referred to as the NASCAR Harley because of the 51 signatures on it; 48 current and retired NASCAR drivers, Harley-Davidson President Willie G. Davidson, and NBC broadcasters Bill Weber and Allen Bestwick.

In addition to the custom artwork and signatures, the bike also features an additional $5,000 of chrome accessories, a custom seat, and a customized Wells Fargo trailer.

The bike was originally raffled off by members of the Elkhart, Indiana Fire Department at "Tribute to FDNY." The raffle raised $50,000 for new equipment for New York's Fire Department to replace equipment that was destroyed on September 11, 2001.

"The bike is really a great symbol because it combines some of our country's greatest traditions: NASCAR, Harleys, and the bravery of those who died on 9/11 and of those firefighters who continue to risk their lives every day," said Dean Kruse, founder and CEO of Kruse International.

Kruse International's Spring Motorfair and Cyclefest will be held May 2-4, 2003 at the Kruse auction complex on CR 11-A south of Auburn, IN. The motorcycle segment of the auction will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at 5:00 p.m. For more information about the NASCAR Harley please call Kruse International at (800) 968-4444 or visit www.nascarharley.com
