St Petersburg Qualifying

Revolution Motorsports Qualifying Notes
Hayner to start 4th, Sak to start without a qualifying time.

St. Petersburg, Fla. February 22, 2003 Stu Hayner will start the #2
Trenton Forging / Revolution Motorsports' Corvette in fourth for Sundays
Trans-Am season opener in St. Petersburg, Florida. His team mate, Bobby
Sak, will start the event from the back after a broken axle denied his
qualifying opportunity.

"We've been chasing the front end," commented Hayner. "The areo changes
mandated for 2003 seem to have really affected the front end of the car and
how it reacts in high-speed corners. We're slowly getting it sorted out and
bringing the car up-to-speed. I think we've got it good enough to be in the
hunt on Sunday. We'll have to see what the late day track offers up in the
way of grip."

"We've got good horsepower on the long straights and coming off the
corners," Hayner continued. "We'll make a few more changes tonight and see
if we can get a little more out of the handling in tomorrow's morning
practice. I just want to be around the front in the later laps. Our cars do
well on this type of course and we pay attention to taking care of our
equipment. I'll focus on track position and make a run for it at the end."

Bobby Sak had practiced well enough Friday qualify in Saturday's fast
group. Unfortunately, yesterday's broken axel and caused some hidden stress
in the rear axle housing and the case let go just has the qualifying
session got up to speed. Consequently, the car didn't post a lap time.

"I felt good in practice and we were really getting the car sorted out,"
said Bobby. "I'm not too worried starting at the back. I'll be able to move
up steadily and concentrate on keeping out of trouble. I'd like to keep the
leaders in sight and find a comfortable pace. If we can bring the car home
in one piece and pick up a respectable top 10, I'd consider it a successful
outing."

Sak will run his first full season of Trans-Am and compete for the 2003
Rookie of the Year honors. He is taking over the driving duties replacing
his father and team owner, Don Sak, in the Revolution Motorsports #10 Corvette.

Revolution fans will be able to catch all the Trans-Am Series races this
year on SPEED. The St. Petersburg race will air February 23 at 5:30 EST. As
an added feature, the Trenton Forging #2 Corvette will be carrying two on

action, viewers can expect some 'edge of your seat' excitement.
