Tokyo, Japan, Apr. 03, 2003 - (JCN Newswire) - Mazda Motor Corporation
will add Mazda Demio to its "Web Tune Factory" site
(http://www.w-tune.com), which allows customers to order their own
customized car via the Internet. Web-tuned@Demio will commence from
13:00, today.

Mazda's 'Web Tune Factory'

"Web Tune Factory" was the first website in Japan to offer a
build-to-order service on the Internet when it was launched in February
2001. Currently Web-Tuned Roadster is available on the site.

Based on 10 model types (4 types for 1300cc, 6 types for 1500cc), this
new Mazda Demio Web Tune Factory allows customers to select body colors
and options including factory-installed and dealer options, and conduct
a simulation on the Internet to view their web-tuned Demio on the
display. In addition, site users can receive an estimate, schedule an
appointment with a sales representative or place an order. After
reaching a decision, customers visit a Mazda dealer to complete the
"paperwork," including contract authorization, registration and delivery
appointment. The dealer then forwards the customer's order to Mazda for
production.

Mazda significantly revised the Mazda Demio's option system to give
small-car buyers more freedom in selecting equipment to meet their
diversified needs, introducing twenty-eight different catalog models,
featuring various combinations of popular options. By adding the Demio
to the Web Tune Factory, Mazda has made the process of selecting options
more convenient, simpler and much more fun. Like Web Tune Factory,
customers can also customize a color and options at dealers.

IMPORTANT
Please note that these Internet-exclusive models are available ONLY in
Japan. From anywhere in the world, customers can access the contents of
the Web Tune Factory site or contact a dealer in Japan via the Internet.
However, Mazda and its dealers in Japan cannot accept via Web tune
Factory a request involving any exporting action. We appreciate your
understanding.

Dealers
Web-Tune@Demio: Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Mazda Autozam dealers within
Japan.
