Microsoft Drives University of Michigan's Automotive Technology Curriculum With $220,000 Donation

   What:     Against the backdrop of the Auto Interiors Show, Microsoft
             Corp. will donate $220,000 to the University of Michigan's
             automotive computing curriculum. The donation will be
             symbolized by the presentation of a giant check.

   Who:      Linda Mitchell, global account manager of the Automotive
             Business Unit at Microsoft, and Nilesh Patel, assistant
             professor in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at
             the University of Michigan-Dearborn
   
   When:     Wednesday, May 14, 8:30 a.m.

   Details:  Microsoft's gift to the university will advance the educational
             curriculum for automotive computing at the university's
             autoMobile Computing Lab, part of the College of Engineering
             and Computer Science in Dearborn. The donation demonstrates
             Microsoft's commitment to revolutionizing in-car computing and
             bringing emerging technologies into the car.
