GM Announces June Sales Incentives

Additional Customer Cash Added on Selected Vehicles
Program Continues 0.0 Percent Financing for Five Years on Most GM Vehicles

DETROIT - General Motors Corp. today announced its latest marketing program which runs from June 3 through July 7, 2003. GM is offering cash rebates of up to $4,000 on select new 2003 GM vehicles or zero percent financing for five years for qualified buyers on the purchase of new 2003 GM Buick, Chevrolet (except Corvette), GMC, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Saab and Saturn vehicles.

The program also includes 0.0/0.0/0.0 percent APR finance rates for qualified buyers on the purchase of the 2003 Cadillac Escalade, ESV and EXT; 1.9/2.9/3.9 percent finance rates on the 2003 CTS; and 5.9/5.9/5.9 percent finance rates on the 2003 DeVille, SLS and STS.

"We've been pleased with consumers' and dealers' response to our May marketing program," said John Smith, group vice president of GM North America Vehicle, Sales, Service and Marketing. "While we've made some modifications, this marketing program, in combination with our '24-Hour Test Drive' and 'GM in the Driveway' programs should position us well for the summer selling season."

A national advertising campaign including print advertising will begin on June 5.

GM continues its "thank you" program through September 2, 2003 for military personnel, including active duty, Reserve, National Guard and retired members of the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard, which includes $750 cash back on the purchase or lease of any new GM car or truck, 90-day deferred payments when financing through dealers and GMAC and attractive GMAC financing.
