Volkswagen Reports July Sales

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Aug. 1, 2003 -- Volkswagen of America, Inc. today reported July sales of 25,674 versus last year's total of 32,100.

Through seven months, Volkswagen's year-to-date sales stand at 171,632 versus 2002 sales of 202,119.
