Experience the Fun of a Clean Diesel
Clean Diesel Drive to Highlight the Latest in Diesel Technology;
Vehicles Coming Soon to the United States
WHAT: A demonstration of the latest in clean diesel technology
featuring vehicles with advanced engine technology not seen
before in the United States. This invitation-only event will
provide the opportunity to test-drive these vehicles on a
confined track and experience for yourself how powerful,
clean, quiet and fun to drive today's diesel cars are.
WHY: Modern, clean diesel cars, pickups and SUVs hold great promise
for helping the United States achieve its energy and
environmental goals. Diesel-powered cars boast 20 to 40
percent better fuel economy than gasoline-powered equivalents.
The diesel vehicles featured at the Clean Diesel Drive are
currently only available in Europe, where one out of every
three cars sold today runs on diesel. With major European and
American auto manufacturers already planning diesel
introductions of popular models -- including some featured at
the event -- into the U.S. market as early as next year, many
predict that diesel is poised to make a comeback in the United
States, thanks to new, clean diesel technologies.
Stay ahead of the curve by taking advantage of this unique
opportunity to experience the progress and potential of clean
diesel as it prepares to make its mass entry into the U.S.
market.
