Now is the Time to Win Race Against Winter, Says AAA

It's that time of year when, once again, Detroit Metro media can help Michigan motorists win the race against winter. With nighttime temperatures predicted for Wednesday in the high 30s, it's not too soon to think about winter.

Last year, during one of the coldest winters on record, hundreds of thousands of motorists found themselves stranded in the snow.

The month-long program is being conducted in cooperation with more than 90 participating Approved Auto Repair facilities. Motorists receive a free vehicle inspection designed to prevent cold-weather problems.
