Saturn Corporation and Dealix Corporation Forge Internet Sales Lead Partnership

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Oct. 14, 2003 -- Saturn Corporation, the industry leader in innovative customer service, and Dealix Corporation, the market expert and leader in automotive Internet marketing services, today announced a partnership that will connect Saturn retailers with online car buyers via Dealix Corporation's Lead Trading Platform(SM) (LTP). The alliance affirms the growing importance of Internet-generated sales leads as an integral part of auto manufacturers' overall customer acquisition strategies. Supplementing interactive media advertisements with Internet sales leads is fast becoming the most effective method for auto manufacturers to connect with car buyers online. According to Ward's Dealer Business, in 2002 the top 100 Internet dealers increased their sales by 22%, at a time when overall sales for the auto industry declined.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Dealix LTP, which processes over 1.9 million online vehicle shoppers monthly, will source, verify, and deliver Internet sales leads for Saturn retailers. Together the companies will work to enable Saturn retailers to increase sales while drastically cutting customer acquisition costs.

"Internet leads have offered us a distinct competitive advantage because we are able to capture consumer interest immediately, catching customers at the first step in their buying process," said Sandy Whitley, team leader, Saturn Internet Prospecting and Communications Team. At Saturn, we have always focused on ensuring that our retailers have everything at their disposal to be successful. This partnership has been validated by the success many of our retailers are already having with Dealix."

"Saturn was a pioneer among OEMs in seizing the opportunity offered by the Internet," said Patrick Stanton, Dealix vice president of business development. "Being recognized by a partner as laser focused on customer service and innovation as Saturn is very rewarding. On an enterprise-wide level, Saturn has their sales process down, and this is undoubtedly why they consistently have the highest close rates we've seen."
