Fleetwood RV Launches All-New Redesigned 2004 Pace Arrow

Premier Gas-Powered Recreational Vehicle Offers Unsurpassed Elegance, Spaciousness and Convenience

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Dec. 2 -- Fleetwood RV, the world's leading recreational vehicle manufacturer, today revealed its highly anticipated 2004 Pace Arrow model at the 41st Annual National RVIA tradeshow, taking place in Louisville, Kentucky, December 2-4, 2003. The newly redesigned model represents Fleetwood's best-equipped, most luxurious Pace Arrow to date.

The 2004 Pace Arrow has the appearance of a high-line diesel pusher, with new graphics, higher roofline and 22.5-inch wheels and tires. The foundation of the new Pace Arrow is the Workhorse W-22 chassis with the Vortec V-8 engine and Allison 1000 five-speed automatic transmission. The exterior of the Pace Arrow includes a new front fiberglass cap, a high-profile tubular grille, five additional inches in the roofline, dramatic stylized graphics and a powered A&E awning that can be set to automatically retract in the event of high wind or rain.

"The 2004 Pace Arrow is grandeur in motion," said Chris Braun, Senior Vice President of Fleetwood RV. "Our customers expressed a desire for a more luxurious and impressive coach without the additional costs associated with a diesel engine and chassis -- we delivered with the new Pace Arrow."

The interior boasts a full seven feet of headroom, a lower dash to increase driver visibility, and a powered one-piece sun visor to reduce eye fatigue. Automatic two-zone electronic climate control (ECC) keeps the elements at bay with two ducted roof air units and two Hydroflame furnaces.

The 2004 Pace Arrow offers a unique floor plan with a side aisle between the living area and the master suite. Reminiscent of a bygone era with Pullman cars and late-night whistle stops, this floor plan provides a one-room lavatory with a residential-size shower enclosure that boasts an adjustable- height shower head, as well as a soap and shampoo dispenser, linen closet, cabinet for the optional washer/dryer, deep medicine cabinet, additional towel racks and a SeaLand(R) toilet. Pace Arrow offers four interior decor selections (sand, slate, terra cotta and lagoon) and three different woods. All the furniture is Flexsteel ultra leather and the mattress is a queen-size Restonic.

The new front fiberglass cap includes MCI heavy-duty headlights, ultra- modern LED turn signals and side markers, a two-piece windshield with Denso wipers (which include a wet-arm design for the ultimate in windshield cleanliness). The new, lower dash includes redesigned, easy-to-read gauges, back-up monitor with one-way sound, and a radio with larger buttons and read- out screen for quick selections while driving (the stereo also includes both CD and cassette players). All electronic entertainment components (two TVs, DVD, VCR, and surround-sound speakers) are Panasonic. The dining area is available as either a table with chairs or a booth, depending on whether the customer wants more sleeping capacity or not.

The 2004 Pace Arrow will have a base MSRP range of $127,000 - $135,700. For more information on the Pace Arrow or any other Fleetwood RV products, please call 877-308-7644. To learn more about Fleetwood's complete line-up of recreational vehicles visit www.fleetwoodrv.com .
