Bud's Tire & Wheel Inc. Brings 'Ride Safe Tour' Virtual-Reality Experience to Riverside Airport's 'AIRSHOW 2004'

RIVERSIDE, Calif.--March 9, 2004--The Monroe Ride Safe Tour will be featured at the Riverside Airport's AIRSHOW 2004 on March 27, 2004. Bud's Tire & Wheel, of Riverside, worked effortlessly to bring the tour to the Inland Empire. The idea is to bring a fun and safe learning environment to people attending the air show.

Bud's Tire & Wheel has been serving the Inland Empire region for over eight years. "We deal with safety everyday," said Bud Luppino of Bud's Tire & Wheel Inc. Bud's Tire & Wheel replaces worn shocks and tires, as well as providing maintenance and repairs. Luppino went on to say, "It was only natural for us to bring the Ride Safe Tour to our community." The Ride Safe Tour educates participants how the different components of their vehicle interact -- i.e. the shocks, struts, tires, suspension components, safety belts, car seats and braking systems.

The Monroe Ride Safe Tour is a fully interactive, multi-million dollar educational experience to demonstrate the importance of vehicle safety. Car knowledge kiosks provide a custom assessment of participants' vehicle maintenance schedule and advisories on critical part wear levels. The kiosks also include Auto Care 101, which is an on-site ASE-certified mechanic that gives do-it-yourself clinics. There is an auto safety program rollover simulator that educates consumers on the advantages of wearing seatbelts and the importance of child safety seats. Finally, consumers can experience the difference in handling and feel between worn and new shocks.

The importance of driving safe vehicles is the utmost concern for the employees at Bud's Tire & Wheel. By coordinating the Monroe Ride Safe Tour with the Riverside Municipal Airport's AIRSHOW 2004, Bud's Tire & Wheel gives the area residents an opportunity to learn more about their vehicles and how to keep them safe.
