LIEGE-ROME-LIEGE From Belgium to Italy at the Wheel of a Classic Car

LIEGE, Belgium, March 25 --

From 20th to 26th June 2004 two hundred and fifty classic car enthusiasts will unite Liege (Belgium) with Rome. Will you be one of them?

Jaguar, Porsche, Austin-Healey, Bentley, Ferrari, Triumph, Aston Martin, MG, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Mercedes. AC, Riley, Frazer Nash, Lagonda, Talbot, Alvis and many more.....all these historic cars, a real rolling museum of automobile history, are expected at the start of the LIEGE-ROME-LIEGE RALLY, recently honoured with the award of " Best International Historic Rally ".

Many experienced crews drive these magnificent machines, but many newcomers to the sport are also expected. Even for such a major rally the LIEGE-ROME-LIEGE is the ideal choice for newcomers, with the route , passing through magnificent scenery, defined precisely in the road-book by simple to follow instructions and diagrams (www.liegeromeliege.com).

Of these enthusiasts, who come from various parts of the world for the event, many are couples or family members taking the opportunity to share a passion for their cars.

With everyone staying at the same hotel and having a gala dinner each night, together with the organised lunch halts, there is ample opportunity to meet fellow competitors from the more than twenty nationalities represented.

New friendships are made and old ones renewed and thus, the rally re-discovers it's primary purpose - the shared passion of the automobile.
