Nissan North America Reports Record March 2004 Sales: 90,494 Units Sold
GARDENA, Calif.--April 1, 2004--Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported its best sales month ever with March total sales of 90,494 units for its Nissan and Infiniti divisions, a 30.3 percent increase versus March of last year.NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
-- March sales for Nissan-brand vehicles were up 32.8 percent when compared to last March, with 78,070 units sold
-- Altima reported sales of 24,716 units, Sentra reported sales of 12,252 units, Titan full-size truck reported sales of 5,532 units, Quest reported sales of 4,722 units and Armada full-size SUV reported sales of 2,661 units
-- Calendar year-to-date sales are up 36.0 percent with 206,166 units sold
INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS
-- Sales for Infiniti, the luxury division of NNA, increased 16.4 percent from last March, with 12,424 units sold
-- G35 sedan reported sales of 4,247 units, G35 Coupe reported sales of 2,781 units, FX reported sales of 2,746 units and the QX56 full-size SUV reported sales of 1,096 units
-- Calendar year-to-date sales are up 17.5 percent with 31,328 units sold
