WHAT:
A rare sighting of the all-new 2005 Ford Mustang highlights the North Texas stop of the 10,000-mile, round-the-country, Great American Pony Tour II Thursday and Friday, April 22-23. View 40 years of automotive history "on the hoof" from club members' 1965 Mustangs to the all-new 2005 model.
* 200 classic Mustangs traveling with the Tour will arrive Thursday afternoon en masse.
* Part of the 40th anniversary celebration of Ford Mustang, America's original pony car and a cultural icon.
* Local North Texas Mustang club members will meet and lead the Mustang stampede through I-20 to I-635, to a reception at the Texas Shelby Continuation Facility on April 22.
* On April 23, the tour will visit Dallas Mustang Parts before heading to the Texas Motor Speedway for a tour and photo op.
