Cindi Lux To Appear On Friday's NBC TODAY Show

ALOHA, Ore., May 4, 2004 - One of the country's leading female race
drivers, Cindi Lux, will be featured in a special segment on the
country's leading morning news and information show. Lux will be a guest
of NBC's TODAY Show on Friday, May 7. The Aloha, Oregon-resident was
asked to participate as one of three women in a feature called "Women in
Male Jobs - Makeovers". The three women have been selected because they
are involved in professions dominated by men. The concept behind the
segment is to give Lux a "day of pampering" because of her workload with
little opportunity to focus on herself. The other women joining Lux
include a Boston-area videographer and an Amtrak track worker from
Chicago.

Lux, who drives the No. 78 KUMHO Tire/ Suburban Chevrolet/ Redline Oil/
Kodiak Racing Wheels/ CORSA Exhaust Chevrolet Corvette for NayKid Racing
in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) T1 class, was accompanied by
the TODAY Show crew during a recent race weekend in Colorado. There, the
camera's caught her not only winning her first race of the year, but
interacting with sponsors and fans as well. She was then invited to New
York City where the 1999 American Le Mans Series' Women's Global GT
Series champion went through an all-inclusive make-over including a day
at a spa having a massage, make-up treatment, hair styling and more.

The feature of the SCCA Northern Pacific Division T1 title and Oregon
National Driver of the Year will appear in the 9 o'clock hour of
Friday's show. Lux is one of the most victorious female drivers in the
history of sports car racing. She is a multi-time series champion with
countless wins in both amateur and professional road racing. Lux is
highly sought-after by the world's automobile companies for product
development and media launches due to her skill behind the wheel,
understanding of automobiles and easy-going, well-spoken style.

Cindi Lux: "This is a lot of fun. I love to be pampered, like anyone,
but with my schedule, I just don't have the time too often. I've been
able to do a lot of cool stuff through racing but this was definitely
different. To be on a show the level of the TODAY Show is a neat deal.
I'm looking forward to meeting the other women and to being a part of
this."
