Tyrese Hosts Two-Hour Original Special Premieres Sunday May 23, 2004 Featuring America's Favorite Rides

NEW YORK, May 11 -- Spike TV presents a showcase of men's favorite rides on the road in the original two-hour special, Spike TV's 52 Favorite Cars on Sunday, May 23 (10:00pm -- Midnight). Hosted by singer, actor and car-fanatic Tyrese, this two-hour, original special is a fun look at some of the favorite exotic, fast, fun, and noteworthy cars a guy could ever have -- or want to have. Featured segments include categories such as favorite sports car, hot rod, car for a mid-life crisis, truck, car to dream about, concept car, and much more. The special also covers favorite car movie chases, places to drive and memorable music videos featuring cars.

In order to determine the favorite cars, Spike TV went out to our viewers looking for answers. In March, 52favoritecars.com launched asking car-buffs to vote for their favorite rides. To date, over 1,500,000 votes have been cast in well over 52 categories. Spike TV also went out and surveyed auto aficionados at the New York Auto Show in April as well as conducted man-on-the-street interviews in major cities nationwide.
