For the 25th year, IADT-Chicago hosts its annual student-run fashion show
and awards ceremony for the general public. GM adds a novel twist with a
student competition featuring clothing designs inspired by popular car
models.

Located downtown Chicago at One North State Street
with a suburban campus in Schaumburg, IADT is an
accredited, four-year college that offers bachelor
and associate degrees. Students across a variety of
disciplines -- including fashion design, advertising,
visual communication, merchandising management,
multi-media production, interior design and
information technology/e-commerce -- collaborate to
bring the IMAGINE show to life.
TITLE SPONSOR: General Motors (GM)
For the 2nd consecutive year, GM will be the title
sponsor of IMAGINE. GM is sponsoring a special
design competition for IADT students as part of this
event, which was launched at the 2004 Chicago Auto
Show. About 100 future Chicago fashion leaders will
compete by designing fashions inspired by five GM
vehicles including the Buick LaCrosse; Cadillac XLR;
Chevrolet SSR; Hummer H3T concept vehicle; and the
Pontiac GTO. Winners from each category will be
announced and awarded cash prizes at IMAGINE 2004.
