HOLLYWOOD, Fla.--July 22, 2004--King David Bikers, (KDB) South Florida's Jewish Motorcycle Riding Club is moving to Hollywood. In the three months since announcing its search for a "motorcycle riding rabbi" KDB has made news headlines worldwide, has exploded to 80 members and is making a strategic move from its Sunday morning meetings at the Rascal House in Boca Raton to Hollywood to make itself available to the densely populated Jewish communities to the South.

"Hollywood, Aventura, Surfside and Bal Harbor have large Jewish populations," says KDB Founder, Jeff Mustard, "and this move will make it easier for other Jewish motorcycle enthusiasts to become members of our organization." KDB members come from as far South as Kendall and as far north at Palm Beach Gardens and has members in 2 other states.

According to Mustard, Hollywood is a central location for those in Broward and others in the general North Miami area, as well as to those north of the Broward County line, for members and potential members to be able to comfortably make it to our meeting place. "I looked for a month and a half to find the right place before settling on JPs Bistro a/k/a Jerusalem Pizza, a Kosher restaurant just a little west of I-95 on Stirling Road," says Mustard.

    Our Membership

KDB has nearly 80 members. "Some motorcycle clubs have been around for years and years and never make it past 10 or 20 members," says Mustard. "I thought there were other Jews who ride motorcycles, but I had no idea it would turn out like this!"
