LAS VEGAS--July 26, 2004--The 13th Annual Blackhawk Exposition Sale, sponsored by the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino, will present the most spectacular collection of the world's finest automobiles ever assembled, with more than $100 million worth of vehicles up for individual sale.

Ranging from a 1914 Mercedes to a 1990 Porsche, the collection of nearly 80 automobiles consists of all different models and makes, such as Isotta Fraschini, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Duesenberg, Bentley, Rolls-Royce and even a Heine Velox.

The Aug. 11, 2004 - 15 event at the Peter Hay Golf Course at The Lodge in Pebble Beach has amongst its many important automobiles a 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster and a 1967 Gulf GT40 Mirage Superlightweight race car.

The Mercedes-Benz is one of the very best and considered by many collectors to be the most important 540K in the world. The Gulf GT40 is the only one of its kind existing today and was built to contest the 1967 World Championship. Each of these automobiles is valued at more than $5 million.

The Blackhawk Exposition Sale is one of the premier events in the Pebble Beach area, drawing tens of thousands of visitors each day. Autos at this year's sale range in price from $100,000 - $5 million.
