Fox & Hounds and the Horsepower Hall of Fame Welcome Woodward Dream Cruise Enthusiasts!

Exclusive commemorative print created with all proceeds to benefit the Michigan National Guard Family Support Fund!

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Aug. 19 -- Enjoy the August 21st Dream Cruise from the best seats in the house -- parking included! The Horsepower Hall of Fame and the Fox & Hounds show their commitment to the men and women of the Michigan National Guard with the Third Annual Horsepower Salute to America's Troops benefit.

Held at the Fox & Hounds on Woodward Avenue during the 10th Annual Dream Cruise, the event, sponsored by Heart International, includes a brunch, a picnic buffet, parking and an afterglow party.

"We are sponsoring this benefit to express our appreciation to the fine men and women of the Michigan National Guard who sacrifice so much to preserve our freedom. It is their heroic efforts that make events like the Cruise possible," said Jack "Doc" Watson, the CEO of Heart International.

Throughout the day, guests can view displays of custom designed cars, trucks, hot rods, and high tech military vehicles (including the Army's SmarTruck I, II and III and feature vehicles from International Truck and Engine Corp.) while watching the Cruisers roll down Woodward -- all from a comfortable and convenient location under the Fox & Hounds tents.

Retired Four Star General John Coburn and Linda Vaughn, often called the First Lady of Motorsports, will be special guests of honor throughout the afternoon leading up to their induction into the Horsepower Hall of Fame. There will also be musicians, entertainers, many celebrity guests plus the headliner, Streetcorner, who will perform a live Motown Review.

Tickets should be reserved in advance by calling the Fox & Hounds (248-644-4800) or through Heart International (810-695-9200). Pre-registered press is welcome to attend the event free of charge. Doors open at 10:00 a.m.; over 21 only beginning at 7:00 p.m.
