Monster Scouting Jamboree - Feel the Power of Monster Scouting

DETROIT, Oct. 13 -- On Saturday, October 16 at the Michigan State Fairgrounds the Boy Scouts of America's Detroit Area Council's Monster Scouting Jamboree will be held. In a joint community project, General Motors and Ford Motor Company have sponsored the Monster Scouting Jamboree.

Nearly 4,000 young people have joined Scouting in the past few weeks indicating an estimated attendance of over 10,000 people to this event. Every new Scout joining, as well as every Scout who recruited a new Scout, received a pit pass entitling their family household to attend.
