The following U.S. and Canadian assembly plants are working overtime this week: Chicago (Ford Five Hundred, Ford Freestyle, and Mercury Montego), Kansas City SUV (Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute), Ohio (Mercury Mariner), and Lorain (Ford Econoline).
Next week (November 15), all North American assembly plants will be operating except St. Thomas (Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis), Twin Cities (Ford Ranger and Mazda B-Series), Wayne (Ford Focus), and Wixom (Lincoln Town Car, Lincoln LS, and Ford Thunderbird). Production will resume on November 22 at Wayne and Wixom, on November 29 at Twin Cities, and December 6 at St. Thomas. These actions were included in Ford's previously announced fourth quarter production plan.
