DETROIT - Chevrolet has enlisted Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Parker as spokespeople for new radio ads that will begin running today. The new spots complement Chevrolet's An American Revolution campaign.

"These two fine actors represent a youthful and stylish presence and we think they are the perfect pair to showcase Chevy's resurgence," said Maria Rohrer, Chevrolet diversity advertising manager. "They are bright new stars with a great future ahead and we think they will be terrific advocates for our family of sport utility vehicles."

Three 60-second spots will begin airing this week across the country. The spots feature Kodjoe and Parker bantering back and forth about family, travel and Chevy's SUV lineup including the Suburban, Tahoe, TrailBlazer and Equinox.

In addition to having considerable careers between them, the couple is planning a future together. Engaged to be married, Kodjoe and Parker are known for their work on HBO's Soul Food: the series, the duo partners again in UPN's new show Second Time Around. This is their first work with an automotive company.

Chevrolet is in the midst of one of the most aggressive product pushes in history with 10 new products in 20 months, including the hot new sixth generation Corvette, the Malibu and Malibu Maxx and the new Colorado, Equinox, Aveo, Uplander and Cobalt.
