The Washington Auto Show(R) Media Preview Day: Mon., Dec. 20

          Toyota's Esmond Will Open the Washington Auto Show(R)

  *  Don Esmond, senior vice president and general manager of the Toyota
     Division for Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., will be the
     keynote speaker for The Washington Auto Show's Media Preview Day,
     addressing media and industry leaders at the noon luncheon sponsored by
     WANADA and the Washington Automotive Press Association (WAPA). NOTE:
     This is a speaker change due to the overseas travel schedule of
     previously scheduled speaker Jim Press, EVP and COO, Toyota Motor
     Sales.

  *  Esmond oversees all aspects of the Toyota Division, including
     marketing, retail development, corporate used vehicles and logistics
     services. His responsibilities include the sales department and its 10
     TMS regions, as well as two private distributors, Southeast Toyota and
     Gulf States Toyota. He also serves on the company's seven-member
     executive committee.

  Media Preview Day at The Washington Auto Show provides:

  *  A complete preview of auto show exhibit and display areas.

     introduction.
