WheelsTV, the first U.S. television network devoted to the world's passion for cars, trucks and motorcycles, today inked a multi-year output deal with GTV Enterprise, LLC. With it, WheelsTV's signature programs will air in the former USSR, including the Baltic States, on the new television network, Autoplus TV. Autoplus TV launches March 1st.
WheelsTV programs initially include 61 episodes of Wild About Wheels, the first automotive lifestyle television series and two episodes of Wheels, the highly acclaimed documentary series covering the history of the automobile.
Jim Barisano, chairman of WheelsTV, says, "One of the truly exciting aspects of WheelsTV is the network's international appeal. Now, even Russians who are wild about wheels will be able to enjoy shows from WheelsTV on Autoplus TV."
Autoplus TV is a television network of VKT - R, a leading television company in Russia. It was founded in 1989 as a joint venture amongst VKT Enterprises, a groundbreaker in the field of television and video production in the early 90's, Russian TV and Radio Networks (RTRS), a governmental agency, the owner of a network of transmitting and retransmitting facilities, and StroiMediaResurs LLC, which is a distributor of television and broadcasting equipment.
Autoplus TV will explore all aspects of the automobile in the daily lives of people around the world.

WheelsTV's multi-year licensing deal with GTV is expected to be the first of many international programming agreements for WheelsTV, which has deals pending in The Philippines, Japan and South Korea.
