Women of Motorsports and Slim-Fast Encourage Racing Fans to
Get On Track to Weight Loss Success This Racing Season
DAYTONA, Fla., Feb. 18, 2005 -- What: Led by Ann Schrader, wife of NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Kenny
Schrader and President of The Women's Auxiliary of Motorsports
(WAM), WAM and Slim-Fast have teamed together to launch the
"Champions of Healthy Weight" program, to encourage Americans
to get on track to weight loss success. The program kicks off
with a launch event at Daytona International Speedway and will
continue throughout the 2005 racing season.

Who: Join Ann Schrader, President of the Women's Auxiliary of
Motorsports and Slim-Fast registered dietitians, as they kick
off the CHAMPIONS OF HEALTHY WEIGHT PROGRAM and discuss the
challenges of balancing a busy lifestyle and staying healthy.
Ann Schrader, President, The Women's Auxiliary of Motorsports,
Inc. (WAM, Inc.). Established in 2004 with the merger of the
Winston Cup Racing Wives Auxiliary and the Busch Series
Ladies Association, founded in 1965 and 1996 respectively.
The two organizations decided to join forces, in addition to
the ladies of the Craftsman Truck Series, to form one united
front. The Auxiliary's mission is to enrich the sport of
NASCAR(R) with a commitment to its families through
fundraising and wellness programs for those requiring
medical or financial assistance. In addition, the Women's
Auxiliary of Motorsports, Inc. helps support organizations
with likeminded missions and purposes.
